Lauren is a qualified psychotherapist who is pre-accredited with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). She holds a Master of Science in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Irish Institute of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IICP).

Before training as a psychotherapist, Lauren completed a degree in Economics and Sociology and a Master’s in Management Consultancy. While working in business, she chose a path that focused on the human side of organisations, with a particular interest in the people experience and bringing individuals along the journey of change and development.

Lauren works from a pluralistic perspective, recognising that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy. She works collaboratively with clients to understand their unique experiences and tailor therapy in a way that feels supportive, empowering, and meaningful. She is passionate about creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported.

She has experience supporting individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including:

  • Anxiety (including general and social anxiety)

  • Depression and low mood

  • Stress and burnout

  • Trauma and recovery from difficult life events

  • Grief and loss

  • Relationship, family, and friendship difficulties

  • Communication and conflict resolution

  • Self-esteem, confidence, and self-worth

  • Personal growth and self-development

  • Workplace stress and exam pressure

  • Boundary setting and trust issues

  • Social isolation and life transitions

  • Experiences of abuse or traumatic events

  • Supporting parents dealing with children’s behavioral challenges

Lauren aims to support clients in developing deeper self-understanding, building healthier coping strategies, and working towards a more balanced and fulfilling life. If you feel Lauren may be the right fit for you, you can take the first step and get in touch.
