Lauren is a qualified psychotherapist who is pre-accredited with the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP). She holds a Master of Science in Pluralistic Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Irish Institute of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IICP).
Before training as a psychotherapist, Lauren completed a degree in Economics and Sociology and a Master’s in Management Consultancy. While working in business, she chose a path that focused on the human side of organisations, with a particular interest in the people experience and bringing individuals along the journey of change and development.
Lauren works from a pluralistic perspective, recognising that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to therapy. She works collaboratively with clients to understand their unique experiences and tailor therapy in a way that feels supportive, empowering, and meaningful. She is passionate about creating a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported.
She has experience supporting individuals facing a wide range of challenges, including:
Anxiety (including general and social anxiety)
Depression and low mood
Stress and burnout
Trauma and recovery from difficult life events
Grief and loss
Relationship, family, and friendship difficulties
Communication and conflict resolution
Self-esteem, confidence, and self-worth
Personal growth and self-development
Workplace stress and exam pressure
Boundary setting and trust issues
Social isolation and life transitions
Experiences of abuse or traumatic events
Supporting parents dealing with children’s behavioral challenges
Lauren aims to support clients in developing deeper self-understanding, building healthier coping strategies, and working towards a more balanced and fulfilling life. If you feel Lauren may be the right fit for you, you can take the first step and get in touch.
